The average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $456 per ton in 2022, falling by -4.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 14%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $520 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

The export price peaked at $497 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($541 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine totaled $136 per ton.

For the fourth year in a row, Russia recorded growth in overseas shipments of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds, which increased by 13% to 15K tons in 2022. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a significant increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +22.5% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +84.0% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 36%. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
In value terms, exports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds fell to $2.6M in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.4% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded in certain years.
