The average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $860 per ton in March 2022, with an increase of 5.3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price showed tangible growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2021 when the average import price increased by 95% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in March 2022.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Turkey ($1,078 per ton) and Iran ($975 per ton), while the price for Uzbekistan ($733 per ton) and Kazakhstan ($787 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Kazakhstan (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds stood at $4,078 per ton in 2022, reducing by -11.5% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 101% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,606 per ton in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Russia.
From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Ukraine amounted to +29.8% per year.
