Plant-Growth Regulators Price in China (FOB) - 2023
The average plant-growth regulators export price stood at $2,523 per ton in September 2023, stabilizing at the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a abrupt setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 4.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,789 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to September 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was South Africa ($3,578 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ghana ($1,506 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to South Africa (-2.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Plant-Growth Regulators Price in China (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average plant-growth regulators import price amounted to $10,472 per ton, increasing by 48% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, plant-growth regulators import price increased by +62.6% against 2020 indices. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
