In September 2022, the average motorcycle tire import price amounted to $50.4 per unit, declining by -18.3% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, posted pronounced growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 an increase of 109% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $74.5 per unit. From August 2022 to September 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2022, the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($412 per unit), while the price for the Czech Republic ($10.5 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2021 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+22.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
