Meat Price in Azerbaijan (CIF) - 2022
The average meat import price stood at $3,972 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 6.6% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 24%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($4,594 per ton), while the price for Canada ($1,105 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Pakistan (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Meat Price in Azerbaijan (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average meat export price amounted to $17,224 per ton, picking up by 102% against the previous year. Overall, the export price enjoyed a significant expansion.
