Insulating Board Price in Belarus (FOB) - 2022
In March 2022, the average insulating board export price amounted to $295 per cubic meter, dropping by -6.3% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2021 an increase of 30% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $350 per cubic meter in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to March 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In March 2022, the countries with the highest prices were Poland ($348 per cubic meter) and Austria ($328 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to the Czech Republic ($264 per cubic meter) and Slovakia ($265 per cubic meter) were amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Italy (+4.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Insulating Board Price in Belarus (CIF) - 2022
The average insulating board import price stood at $310 per cubic meter in 2022, picking up by 15% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $322 per cubic meter in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($317 per cubic meter), while the price for Russia ($229 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+1.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Insulating Board Exports in Belarus
In 2022, shipments abroad of insulating board decreased by -75.8% to 11K cubic meters for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. In general, exports saw a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 162% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 46K cubic meters, and then reduced remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, insulating board exports shrank sharply to $3.8M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 301% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $12M, and then fell markedly in the following year.

Insulating Board Imports in Belarus
In 2022, the amount of insulating board imported into Belarus soared to 5.8K cubic meters, jumping by 56% compared with 2021 figures. Over the period under review, total imports indicated a significant increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +20.5% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +75.0% against 2019 indices.
