Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Turkey (CIF) - 2021
In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $4,407 per ton, growing by 53% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a mild increase from December 2020 to December 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on December 2021 figures, glass fibre voiles import price increased by +52.5% against November 2021 indices. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was the UK ($10,685 per ton), while the price for the United States ($1,926 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+3.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Turkey (FOB) - 2022
The average glass fibre voiles export price stood at $3,127 per ton in 2022, growing by 2.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 49% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,449 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($8,727 per ton), while the average price for exports to Azerbaijan ($1,335 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (+31.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Turkey
In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in supplies from abroad of glass fibre voiles, when their volume decreased by -8.8% to 13K tons. In general, total imports indicated a prominent increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +11.9% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +39.9% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 26% against the previous year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports reduced to $42M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +10.8% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 26%.

Glass Fibre Voiles Exports in Turkey
In 2022, exports of glass fibre voiles from Turkey reduced markedly to 140 tons, falling by -31.6% against the previous year's figure. Overall, exports, however, posted a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 267% against the previous year.
