In April 2021, the average import price for coal; anthracite, whether or not pulverised, but not agglomerateds amounted to $69.3 per ton, almost unchanged from the previous month. Over the last three months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2021 when the average import price increased by 44% m-o-m. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $69.6 per ton, leveling off in the following month.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In April 2021, the country with the highest price was Russia ($73.0 per ton), while the price for Kazakhstan amounted to $31.0 per ton.

From January 2021 to April 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+2.4%).

In 2022, the average export price for coal; anthracite, whether or not pulverised, but not agglomerateds amounted to $227 per ton, remaining constant against the previous year.
