Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Pakistan (CIF) - 2022
The average glass fibre voiles import price stood at $4,079 per ton in June 2022, dropping by -30% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a temperate increase from June 2021 to June 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.9% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2022 figures, glass fibre voiles import price decreased by -30.0% against May 2022 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2021 when the average import price increased by 79% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $5,838 per ton in September 2021; however, from October 2021 to June 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2022, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($4,394 per ton), while the price for China ($3,174 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2021 to June 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Thailand (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $26,045 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Oman.

Glass Fibre Voiles Exports in Pakistan
In 2022, shipments abroad of glass fibre voiles decreased by -0.2% to 17 tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by 0.4%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 17 tons, leveling off in the following year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles exports rose slightly to $30K in 2022. Overall, exports showed a perceptible setback.
