Glass Fibre Voiles Price in Norway (CIF) - 2021
In December 2021, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $3,848 per ton, with a decrease of -22% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a noticeable decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2021 when the average import price increased by 79% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $7,673 per ton. From August 2021 to December 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Poland ($22,949 per ton), while the price for Italy ($1,657 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+20.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average glass fibre voiles export price amounted to $4,255 per ton, with an increase of 3.7% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, saw a drastic downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 18%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $12,332 per ton. From 2014 to 2022, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($15,385 per ton), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($2,825 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (-2.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Glass Fibre Voiles Imports in Norway
In 2022, after two years of decline, there was growth in supplies from abroad of glass fibre voiles, when their volume increased by 3.7% to 1.1K tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a pronounced slump.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles imports amounted to $5.2M in 2022. In general, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.

In 2022, shipments abroad of glass fibre voiles decreased by -27.7% to 28 tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 151%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 39 tons, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.
In value terms, glass fibre voiles exports shrank markedly to $120K in 2022. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 99.9% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $160K, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.
