In 2022, the average glass fibre voiles import price amounted to $3,745 per ton, rising by 18% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 61%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4,337 per ton. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($38,304 per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($688 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
