Glass Fibre Mat Price in Serbia (CIF) - 2022

The average glass fibre mat import price stood at $1,674 per ton in 2022, falling by -3.2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 16% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,046 per ton. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($5,126 per ton), while the price for Belarus ($1,240 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+22.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Glass Fibre Mat Price in Serbia (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average glass fibre mat export price amounted to $2,855 per ton, dropping by -8.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a mild reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 when the average export price increased by 148% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $18,112 per ton. From 2015 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Romania ($6,231 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($1,656 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+19.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Glass Fibre Mat Imports in Serbia

In 2022, approx. 555 tons of glass fibre mats were imported into Serbia; reducing by -12.5% against 2021 figures. In general, imports recorded a perceptible downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 33% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 634 tons, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, glass fibre mat imports declined markedly to $929K in 2022. Overall, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 44%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $1.1M, and then shrank remarkably in the following year.
