Fiberboard Price in Hong Kong SAR (CIF) - 2023
The average fiberboard import price stood at $100 per cubic meter in September 2023, waning by -62.6% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a slight decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 467% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $523 per cubic meter. From February 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($389 per cubic meter), while the price for Indonesia ($50.6 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+2.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
