The average chicken egg export price stood at $3,053 per ton in October 2023, which is down by -15.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 24% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $5,123 per ton. From December 2022 to October 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($3,433 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands amounted to $1,603 per ton.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+7.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
