The average asparagus import price stood at $964 per ton in October 2021, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a perceptible expansion. The import price peaked in October 2021.

Asparagus Price in Nigeria (FOB) - 2022

The average asparagus export price stood at $4,178 per ton in 2022, remaining stable against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a pronounced slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when the average export price increased by 1.6%. The export price peaked at $6,781 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Asparagus Imports in Nigeria
