In 2016, the amount of pvc report exported worldwide totaled 13M tonnes, coming up by 4% against the previous year level. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% from 2007 to 2016; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010, when export increased by 13% from the previous year level. Global pvc report export peaked in 2016, and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

Pvc Report Exports By Country

In 2016, the U.S. (2.8M tonnes), distantly followed by China (1.2M tonnes), Germany (1.2M tonnes), France (888K tonnes), Belgium (821K tonnes), the Netherlands (787K tonnes), and Japan (728K tonnes) represented the main exporters of pvc report, together committing 64% of total exports. South Korea (590K tonnes), Thailand (373K tonnes), Spain (359K tonnes), Mexico (346K tonnes), and Colombia (290K tonnes) held the weak share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2016, average annual rates of growth with regard to pvc report exports from the U.S. stood at +8.4%. At the same time, Mexico (+9.1%), Spain (+7.4%), China (+5.4%), Belgium (+3.3%), South Korea (+2.2%), the Netherlands (+1.9%), and Colombia (+1.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Mexico emerged as the fastest growing importer/exporter in the world, with a CAGR of +9.1% from 2007-2016. Germany experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Thailand (-1.0%), France (-1.3%), and Japan (-3.0%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. Japan (2%) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while Belgium, China, and the U.S. saw its share reduced by -1.6%, -3.5%, and -10.9% from 2007 to 2016, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the U.S. ($3.3B) remains the largest pvc report supplier in the world, making up 21% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Germany ($1.7B), with the share of 11% of global exports. It was followed by China, with the share of 9%.

From 2007 to 2016, the average annual growth rate of value of pvc report exports in the U.S. expanded at +5.2%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates: Germany (-2.3% per year) and China (+6.7% per year).

Pvc Report Export Prices By Country

In 2016, the average export price for pvc report amounted to $1,185 per tonne, lowering by -2.9% against the previous year. Overall, pvc report export price continues to indicate a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011, an increase of 15% year-to-year. In that year, average pvc report export price reached its maximum level of $1,519 per tonne. From 2012 to 2016, growth of average pvc report export price failed to regain its strength.

There were significant differences in the average export prices amongst major exporting countries. In 2016, the country with the highest export prices was Japan ($1,592 per tonne), while Mexico ($849 per tonne) was among the lowest.

From 2007 to 2016, the most notable growth rate of pvc report export prices was attained by Japan (+1.9% per year), while the other global leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
