In value terms, hazelnut exports stood at $X in 2020. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a pronounced contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2020, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Ireland (X tonnes) was the main destination for hazelnut exports from the UK, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, hazelnut exports to Ireland exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Italy (X tonnes), eightfold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Portugal (X kg), with a X% share.
