Algeria (X tons) was the main destination for hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes exports from Turkey, with a X% share of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by China ($X), with an X% share of total imports. It was followed by India, with a X% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Italy totaled +X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (+X% per year) and India (+X% per year).

Import Prices by Country

The average import price for hormones, prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes stood at $X per kg in 2021, with an increase of X% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of X%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per kg. From 2014 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was India ($X per kg), while the price for China ($X per kg) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (-X%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
