Cassava Market Size in SADC

Tanzania was also the fastest-growing in terms of the cassava exports, with a CAGR of X% from 2012 to 2023. From 2012 to 2023, the share of Tanzania increased by X percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Tanzania ($X) also remains the largest cassava supplier in SADC.

Imports by Country

South Africa represented the main importer of cassava in SADC, with the volume of imports recording X tons, which was near X% of total imports in 2023. Angola (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Democratic Republic of the Congo (X%).
