New Zealand (+20 p.p.), Ireland (+4.9 p.p.), Poland (+2.8 p.p.), France (+2.2 p.p.) and Portugal (+1.7 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the global exports, while the United States and Germany saw its share reduced by -1.7% and -6.6% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, New Zealand ($X) remains the largest casein glue and caseinates supplier from Puerto Rico, comprising 54% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Germany ($X), with a 16% share of global exports. It was followed by France, with a 10% share.

In New Zealand, casein glue and caseinates exports expanded at an average annual rate of +7.7% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (-2.2% per year) and France (+3.9% per year).
