Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) were the main destinations of aluminium alloy tube exports from Poland, together accounting for 55% of total exports. The Czech Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovenia, Lithuania, France, Hungary, Belgium and Sweden lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 35%.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Slovenia (with a CAGR of +52.5%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Italy ($X) remains the key foreign market for aluminium alloy tube exports from Poland, comprising 54% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Germany ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Austria, with a 5.2% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to Italy totaled +34.4%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (+8.0% per year) and Austria (+29.8% per year).

In 2021, the average aluminium alloy tube export price amounted to $X per ton, jumping by 16% against the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 97%. The export price peaked in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the near future.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Imports into Poland
Aluminium alloy tube imports into Poland surged to X tons in 2021, rising by 20% compared with the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.0% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, aluminium alloy tube imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Imports by Country
Belgium (X tons), Denmark (X tons) and Greece (X tons) were the main suppliers of aluminium alloy tube imports to Poland, with a combined 41% share of total imports. Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Italy, Turkey, Hungary and China lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 46%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Turkey (with a CAGR of +52.3%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Belgium ($X), Denmark ($X) and Germany ($X) constituted the largest aluminium alloy tube suppliers to Poland, with a combined 39% share of total imports. Italy, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and China lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 45%.
Turkey, with a CAGR of +50.2%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average aluminium alloy tube import price amounted to $X per ton, rising by 14% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a slight curtailment. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the price for Bulgaria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hungary (+5.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
