Sweden (X units), Germany (X units) and the UK (X units) were the main destinations of desktop computer exports from Norway, together comprising 41% of total exports. These countries were followed by the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Romania, China, Spain, the United States, Singapore and Estonia, which together accounted for a further 42%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of +68.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Sweden ($X) remains the key foreign market for desktop computer exports from Norway, comprising 22% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Denmark ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by the United States, with an 8.6% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Sweden totaled +18.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Denmark (+11.2% per year) and the United States (+4.6% per year).

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of desktop computer to Norway, with a 58% share of total imports. Moreover, desktop computer imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Hong Kong SAR (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by the Czech Republic (X units), with a 10% share.
