In value terms, the United States ($X) remains the key foreign market for desktop computer exports from China, comprising 43% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Hong Kong SAR ($X), with a 9.4% share of total exports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 5.8% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to the United States was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Hong Kong SAR (+3.2% per year) and the Netherlands (-10.1% per year).

In 2021, the average desktop computer export price amounted to $X per unit, dropping by -10.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated slight growth from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.6% over the last nine years. In general, imports recorded a perceptible descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by 72%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2020 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, desktop computer imports surged to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment.
