Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2021, and then fell significantly in the following year.

In value terms, fruit flour imports reduced rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 75% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2021, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.

In 2022, Vietnam (X tons) constituted the largest fruit flour supplier to the Netherlands, accounting for a 42% share of total imports. Moreover, fruit flour imports from Vietnam exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Spain (X tons), fourfold.
