Imports into the United Arab Emirates increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2023. At the same time, Iraq (X%), Palestine (X%), Morocco (X%), Israel (X%), Yemen (X%), Qatar (X%), Oman (X%), Jordan (X%), Kuwait (X%) and Lebanon (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Iraq emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in MENA, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2023. Tunisia experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Saudi Arabia (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of the United Arab Emirates (X p.p.), Morocco (X p.p.), Iraq (X p.p.), Yemen (X p.p.), Oman (X p.p.) and Israel (X p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total imports from 2012-2023, the share of Saudi Arabia (X p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
