Preserved Asparagus Market Size in Italy

In value terms, preserved asparagus exports shrank sharply to $X in 2020. In general, exports, however, showed a noticeable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

France (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes) and Germany (X tonnes) were the main destinations of preserved asparagus exports from Italy, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Spain, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, France ($X), Germany ($X) and Spain ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for preserved asparagus exported from Italy worldwide, together accounting for X% of total exports.

Spain recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.
