Cinnamon Market Size in India

In 2019, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in the Indian cinnamon market, when its value decreased by -X% to $X. Overall, consumption, however, saw buoyant growth. The average cinnamon export price stood at $X per tonne in 2019, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a strong increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 when the average export price increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average export prices attained the maximum in 2019 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2019, the country with the highest price was Canada ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Russia ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2019, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
