Spain prevails in exports structure, accounting for X tons, which was approx. 88% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Germany (X tons), committing a 9.1% share of total exports.

At the same time, Germany (+6.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Germany emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Europe, with a CAGR of +6.3% from 2012-2021. In value terms, the largest o-acetylsalicylic acid importing markets in Europe were Germany ($X), Italy ($X) and Russia ($X), together comprising 61% of total imports. Ukraine, Austria, Poland, Belarus, France, Romania, the UK, Bulgaria and Spain lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 34%.

Among the main importing countries, Bulgaria, with a CAGR of +11.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per ton), while Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
