Ghana represented the major exporter of ethyl alcohol in ECOWAS, with the volume of exports reaching X litres, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Mali (X litres), Nigeria (X litres) and Benin (X litres), together creating a X% share of total exports. Senegal (X litres) and Sierra Leone (X litres) took a minor share of total exports.
Exports from Ghana decreased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Benin (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Benin emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in ECOWAS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Mali experienced a relatively flat trend pattern.
