The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest ethylene polymer bag supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 50% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Bulgaria ($X), with a 9.5% share of total exports. It was followed by Lithuania, with an 8% share.

In Poland, ethylene polymer bag exports increased at an average annual rate of +9.6% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Bulgaria (+6.2% per year) and Lithuania (+2.9% per year).

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when imports increased by 14%. The volume of import peaked in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in years to come.
