At the same time, Romania (+44.3%), Bulgaria (+26.6%), Slovakia (+20.6%), Estonia (+12.9%) and the Czech Republic (+10.4%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Romania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +44.3% from 2012-2022. Romania (+16 p.p.), Bulgaria (+3.2 p.p.), the Czech Republic (+2.4 p.p.) and Slovakia (+1.6 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while Poland saw its share reduced by -23.9% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest mattresses of cellular rubber or plastics supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 70% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Romania ($X), with a 17% share of total exports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with a 4.2% share.
