As a result, imports attained the peak of X tonnes. from 2019 to 2020, the growth imports failed to regain the momentum.
In value terms, prepared birds skin imports soared to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2020 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.
Imports by Country
Russia dominates prepared birds skin imports structure, amounting to X tonnes, which was approx. X% of total imports in 2020. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tonnes), achieving a X% share of total imports. Uzbekistan (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Imports into Russia increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2020. At the same time, Uzbekistan (+X%) and Belarus (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
