In value terms, prepared birds skin imports declined remarkably to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a pronounced expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 with an increase of X% year-to-year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019, and then fell rapidly in the following year.

In 2020, Vietnam (X tonnes) was the largest importer of prepared skins of birds, making up X% of total imports. The United Arab Emirates (X tonnes) occupied the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by China (X tonnes). All these countries together occupied near X% share of total imports. Import Prices by Country
The prepared birds skin import price in Asia stood at $X per tonne in 2020, increasing by X% against the previous year. Import price indicated prominent growth from 2007 to 2020: its price increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, prepared birds skin import price increased by +X% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when the import price increased by X% year-to-year. The level of import peaked in 2020 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.
