The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. The volume of import peaked at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, prepared birds skin imports declined notably to $X in 2020. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019, and then fell markedly in the following year.

The purchases of the three major importers of prepared skins of birds, namely the Netherlands, Germany and France, represented more than half of total import.
