The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2021; however, from 2022 to 2023, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, fertilizer exports contracted to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, showed a pronounced increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2022, and then fell in the following year.

In 2023, Russia (X tons) represented the main exporter of fertilizers, achieving X% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), comprising a X% share of total exports. Uzbekistan (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2023, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, fertilizer imports dropped slightly to $X in 2023. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a noticeable expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2022, and then contracted in the following year.

In 2023, Kazakhstan (X tons), distantly followed by Uzbekistan (X tons), Moldova (X tons), Belarus (X tons), Kyrgyzstan (X tons), Azerbaijan (X tons) and Tajikistan (X tons) represented the largest importers of fertilizers, together committing X% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the key importing countries, was attained by Uzbekistan (with a CAGR of X%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
