Vietnam, the Philippines, Pakistan, Canada, Taiwan (Chinese), Australia, Thailand, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 34%.

In terms of the main countries of destination, Chile, with a CAGR of +82.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the average wooden furniture treatments export price amounted to $X per ton, with an increase of 1.6% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a noticeable expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, wooden furniture treatments export price increased by +70.2% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the average export price increased by 33% against the previous year. Imports into China
In 2021, after four years of decline, there was significant growth in supplies from abroad of polishes and creams for wooden furniture and floors, when their volume increased by 18% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 34%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2017 to 2021, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, wooden furniture treatments imports soared to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 39% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

Germany (X tons), Denmark (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of wooden furniture treatments imports to China, with a combined 74% share of total imports. Overall, import price indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +6.1% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
