Wooden Kitchen Furniture Price in South Korea (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average wooden kitchen furniture import price amounted to $66 per unit, increasing by 2.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 21%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $69 per unit. From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Vietnam ($66 per unit) and San Marino ($66 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($66 per unit) and Germany ($66 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by San Marino (+6.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Wooden Kitchen Furniture Price in South Korea (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average wooden kitchen furniture export price amounted to $38 per unit, with a decrease of -34.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 28% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $69 per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to China ($38 per unit) and the Philippines ($38 per unit), while the average price for exports to Uganda ($38 per unit) and New Zealand ($38 per unit) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to New Zealand (-3.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Wooden Kitchen Furniture Imports in South Korea
After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of wooden furniture for kitchens increased by 9.1% to 1.6M units in 2022. Overall, imports, however, showed a drastic downturn. Imports peaked at 1.9M units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, wooden kitchen furniture imports expanded rapidly to $108M in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +3.4% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations in certain years. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
