As a result, production attained the peak volume of 16K units. From 2018 to 2022, global production growth failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, turbo-propeller (over 1100 kW) production expanded slightly to $5.6B in 2022 estimated in export price. Over the period under review, production, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the production volume increased by 33%. As a result, production reached the peak level of $6.7B. From 2016 to 2022, global production growth remained at a lower figure.

Production By Country

The countries with the highest volumes of production in 2022 were the Netherlands (3.1K units), Canada (1.6K units) and France (1.6K units), together comprising 49% of global production. In value terms, Singapore ($679M) remains the largest turbo-propeller (over 1100 kW) supplier worldwide, comprising 36% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Canada ($315M), with a 17% share of global exports. It was followed by Germany, with an 8.7% share.
