Transistor Price in India (CIF) - 2023
The average transistor import price stood at $127 per thousand units in July 2023, rising by 4.3% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated notable growth from July 2022 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.8% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, transistor import price decreased by -24.3% against February 2023 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 36% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $0.2 per unit. From March 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Japan ($512 per thousand units), while the price for China ($51.0 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+5.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Transistor Price in India (FOB) - 2022
The average transistor export price stood at $533 per unit in 2022, rising by 20% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, transistor export price increased by +94.9% against 2014 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. Transistor Imports in India
In 2022, the amount of transistors, other than photosensitive transistors imported into India soared to 1.6M units, growing by 90% compared with the year before. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
