Syringe Price in Israel (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average syringe export price amounted to $0.3 per unit, shrinking by -2.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the average export price increased by 33% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $0.8 per unit in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($0.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to South Africa (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+27.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, import price indicated a modest expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, syringe import price increased by +44.6% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 72%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $0.2 per unit, and then reduced rapidly in the following year.
