In 2022, the average spices; mixtures import price amounted to $8,676 per ton, growing by 77% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a pronounced decrease. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $13,420 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Lebanon ($8,837 per ton), while the price for Germany stood at $7,072 per ton.
