Safety Glass Price in Croatia (CIF) - 2023
The average safety glass import price stood at $32.3 per square meter in June 2023, picking up by 6.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.1%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 31% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $32.8 per square meter in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($117 per square meter), while the price for China ($14.1 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Safety Glass Price in Croatia (FOB) - 2023
The average safety glass export price stood at $161 per square meter in June 2023, with an increase of 1.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated perceptible growth from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.1% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, safety glass export price increased by +22.3% against March 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 an increase of 30% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $186 per square meter. From March 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($427 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Austria ($52.4 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
