Raspberry and Blackberry Price in the UK (CIF) - 2023
The average raspberry and blackberry import price stood at $8,826 per ton in September 2023, increasing by 2.7% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 an increase of 17% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $9,177 per ton. From April 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Mexico ($14,344 per ton), while the price for Morocco ($5,993 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Raspberry and Blackberry Price in the UK (FOB) - 2023
The average raspberry and blackberry export price stood at $14,892 per ton in September 2023, shrinking by -6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded tangible growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 845% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $15,840 per ton in August 2023, and then contracted in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($18,915 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ireland ($10,361 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+27.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Raspberry and blackberry imports into the UK declined markedly to 30K tons in 2022, which is down by -36.2% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports saw a deep slump.
