Ireland (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes) and Poland (X tonnes) were the main destinations of blueberry and cranberry exports from the UK, with a combined X% share of total exports. France, Spain, Singapore and Hong Kong SAR lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by France (+X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Ireland ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and France ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for blueberry and cranberry exported from the UK worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.
In terms of the main countries of destination, France, with a CAGR of +X%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average blueberry and cranberry export price stood at $X per tonne in 2021, jumping by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a mild reduction. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $X per tonne in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Spain ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Poland ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+X%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, blueberry and cranberry imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a resilient expansion.
