In 2022, production of durum wheat in the United States reduced slightly to 50M tons, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year's figure. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the production volume increased by 8.3%. Durum wheat production peaked at 53M tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, production remained at a lower figure. Durum wheat output in the United States indicated slight growth, which was largely conditioned by slight growth of the harvested area and a mild increase in yield figures.

The total output value increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% over the period from 2017 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
