Bambara Bean Production in Togo - 2022

Bambara bean production in Togo was estimated at 20K tons in 2022, almost unchanged from 2021. In general, production, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the yield increased by 12% against the previous year. As a result, the yield attained the peak level of 851 kg per ha. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the average bambara bean yield remained at a somewhat lower figure.
