In 2022, the average export price for vegetables; olives, provisionally preserved but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumptia amounted to $6,196 per ton, with an increase of 43% against the previous year. In general, the export price posted a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average export price increased by 78% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $7,636 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
