The average balls; inflatable export price stood at $5.5 per unit in September 2023, declining by -3.8% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 24% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $6.1 per unit. From December 2022 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Japan ($8.2 per unit), while the average price for exports to Pakistan ($890 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average balls; inflatable import price amounted to $1.4 per unit, with an increase of 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a slight shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when the average import price increased by 96% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $5.3 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($3.4 per unit), while the price for India ($0.6 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
