Price for Travelling Rugs of Synthetic Fibre in Russia (CIF) - 2022
The average import price for blankets and travelling rugs of synthetic fibres stood at $3.8 per unit in January 2022, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous month. In general, import price indicated tangible growth from January 2021 to January 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.3% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on January 2022 figures, travelling rugs of synthetic fibre import price decreased by -2.9% against November 2021 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2021 when the average import price increased by 34% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $4.4 per unit. From July 2021 to January 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2022, the country with the highest price was India ($5.5 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($1.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belarus (+4.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
