The average import price for steel, stainless; (excluding cold-drawn or cold-rolled), tubes and pipes of circular cross-sectia stood at $1,806 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 3.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price posted a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 92%. The import price peaked at $4,093 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
